I am an international doctoral candidate in the program of curriculum and instruction at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. My area of research is the use of technology in education. Specifically, I examine the role of virtual reality in creating anchored instruction for foreign language and culture education programs. I also investigate the plausibility of using social media as a learning management system in higher education. I have academic and working experience in media and digital journalism. I have covered different topics, such as the revolution and Arab Spring in in the Middle East, governance and role of women in Egypt, and other topics related to the Middle East.
